GEO is a non-partisan, non-religious, non-profit organization that encourages people across the country to actively participate in the progress of India that defines their identity. It has been working in India for over 5 years, focusing on alleviating poverty and social injustice. We do this through well planned and comprehensive programmes in health, gender issues, education, skill development, environment, livelihoods and disaster preparedness and response. Our important goal is the empowerment of women and girls from poor and marginalised communities leading to improvement in their lives and livelihoods. GEO started its journey from Delhi and it is reaching to different parts of our country.
